I took it to be a terse answer to the question posed in the subject: No, religion is not a threat to rationality and science. And I agree. Rationality and science need not feel threatened by religion, even though I am quite certain that any number of people on this list have ready files to show how "religion" dangerously attacks rationality and science when it feels threatened.
