The slant of this story (and others like it) actually serves those who would insist that there be _more_ religion-as-science in US schools by suggesting that there is a "secular bias" that needs to be balanced. It drives me nuts to hear religious-righties claiming that Christianity is "under attack", and needs to be protected against the encroachment of "secular humanism" or whatever is their latest fear- mongering label for "actually thinking".
