Of the culture books, Matter was probably my least favorite.  Many consider
A Player of Games the best, but I prefer Consider Phlebus.  If you like
action, CP's the ticket.

I liked the Baroque books.  They were a slow read, but solid and informative
and when the action came it was excellent.  The masquerade party for
example; what a scene!
