I think it moves around, doesn't it?  I worked at one that was held near
Pittsburgh way back when.  Moraine State Park, I think.

Yep, just found it in Wikipedia.  I guess it moved to Fort A.P. Hill after
the 1977 one at Moraine.

At the closing, they had one of the best fireworks shows I have ever seen.
They also had Danny Thomas as the speaker, which was not nearly so
memorable.  The other thing that comes to mind was that there were a lot of
self-important guys with sticks who were supposed to keep order.  They were
the snooty elite scouts... can't recall what the name was.  Order of the
Arrow, maybe?

It was definitely interesting to be there before, during and after as an
employee.  Amazing logistics.
