For some time, beans prices have rocketeed in Brazil. Rice is
also high. OTOH, milk didn't raise in the (past) Winter as
it did in 2007's Winter (when the price of 1 liter doubled
from c. R$ 1.50 to R$ 3.00).

PS: for the sake of comparison, 1 US$ has floated between
R$ 1.60 and R$ 2.40 in the past two years. And the price of food
usually doesn't correlate with the exchange rate.
