Four years ago I was quite dismayed and discouraged with the outcome of the presidential election. One week later, our niece's husband was killed in action in Iraq. I wrote this message back then:

I'm feeling the anxiety that comes with every sad anniversary, fear that this election might be stolen.... and a lot that I can't name. I don't know if I'm living in the present, stuck in the past or worrying about the future! Not much to say here, just wanted to share with you folks, who have been with me, in the special way of this community, throughout the ride.
