Republicans would have to be suicidal idiots to play ball with Obama and the Democrats on health care reform. They all involve increased interference by the Federal Government in the health care market, which is a cultural no-no in America. (Leaving people uninsured is also a no-no. Basically, health care reform runs afoul deeply held contradictory cultural values.
