Hi All, Following my recent visit to the local LUG, next time I go back I want to have something to show them. I want to sit down with my lappy, run a few different programs, then be able to say 'actually all that was done with Perl'.
I remember downloading an OpenGL program before that had an animated robot. All done in Perl. I'm hoping you can tell me about programs and examples you've seen done in Perl, the ones that made you think 'I didn't know Perl could do that!'. The other things I was gonna mention were things like SpamAssassin, BugZilla, IMDB, things to make people say 'I didn't realize that was done in Perl'. I'd very much appreciate your input on this...
