Hi Lyle,
All good ideas regarding toastmasters etc. I did toastmasters for a
while and one of their main rules is that everyone should say something
during a meeting. I think the lightning talks (optional) at our social
meetings are a great way for people to improve their skills in speaking and
I hope there will always be a supportive atmosphere at our meetings for
anyone who chooses to speak.

we can discuss this at the pub.
