Near where?

My main problem getting to meetings is time: they seem to be irregular
weekday evenings, I see the announcements fairly late (they might be
sent earlier and I don't spot them soon enough, which would be mainly
my fault) and it's about 50-50 whether I'm still travelling back from
a job lately.

As to venues: centralish Bristol is fairly easy, outlying Bristol and
Bath are trickier but OK if there's mass transport or good cycle
parking.

Meets are attractive when there's some planned feature of the meeting.
I mean, most of you are lovely people, but I know other lovely people
to go sit in a pub with of an evening and can do that with less travel.

Hope that helps,
