The other option i suppose would be to meet at hamilton house on stokes croft , its a big office building where i work that is being converted into a sustainable development for the local community. Lyle and I have spoken about having a tech meet / perl workshop kind of event there and if this is the plan then we should check it out as a group. There is a bar downstairs but its not normally open (yet!) or we could bring our own. There is a wifi and wired networking with an uplink be broadband but soon to be via a bristol wireless link to BMEX . Tis an option ...
