Apologies for the non-PERL topic! Hoping this may be of interest anyway to some.
Anyone interested in contributing lightly to software development (feature requests, bug fixes etc) of software for a local LETS group? (Local Exchange Trading Schemes/systems: members join, list services in a directory, then pay each other in an invented local currency e.g. Bath Olivers, Bradford Bobs, Bristol Bristles). It's a green/sustainable initiative, going since the 1990s.?Examples of Web-based LETS software are Local Exchange?(dormant on Sourceforge but updated in the UK) and WebLets (on Sourceforge). A developer might also join the LETS (in Bath) and enjoy the benefits of services such as massage, dog-walking and many others, offer services (e.g. .it expertise, or anything!) and maybe reap the social rewards of getting together with?other "traders". No pay, just potential Open Source kudos... Regards Andrew N ________________________________________________________________________ AOL Email goes Mobile!
