For proper jobs as opposed to temping, anything from 20k for a
wet-behind-the-ears beginner rapidly rising to 30 or 35k, and then up to
at least 60k with lots of experience. Maybe more if you want to do
banking stuff.
At least as important, however, is that the working environment in perl
jobs seems to be better than most other places in IT. That's certainly
my experience, and conversations with IT people elsewhere seem to agree.
