The social is tonight! Come and commiserate with me, as I mourn the passing
of the perl system I've been working on for the last 15 years, which I
switched off an hour ago. Actually, even though the replacement java system
is handling most of the end-user traffic now, large parts of the back-end
infrastructure are still perl, as well as a few hold outs on the end-user
services.
