My pitch for a Perl6 version would be to do it in the style of "Raiders of
the Lost Ark".
That way you can include the scenes:
+ Larry as Indiana riding a camel through the desert ....
- camel passes out
- biblical three wise men + Xmas references
- cup of coffee/java thrown and smashed
- pressing on
- an excitable pug nipping at Larry's heels - drops a map by his feet
- a squawking parrot joins the quest
+ the long search for Perl6
- the Camelia butterfly leading the way up a craggy mountain
- perl6 metaoperators as hieroglyhics
- stepping on pythons, tempted by rubies etc
- Perl6 as the rosetta stone of comp sci - finally unearthed
+ Larry returns from the mountain - with the Perl6 grammar
- smaller "slang" stones passed out as gifts to other languages
... and then also make it funny ....
