Hi to all,

as many people said here and in some other posts around the web, I have a
problem in some Asterisk installations using Bristuff and BRI (Junghanns
2-BRI). The problem is as usual the following:

1) During the day, but JUST during the working day, then during a busy period
of the day and of the Asterisk PBX the ZAP channels of the BRI port have the
following problem: If I do a 'show zap channel x' I have a value of "InAlarm:
1". This happens after the following error in /var/log/asterisk/full:

VERBOSE[22162] logger.c:   == Primary D-Channel on span 2 down

This happens during some calls in progress then it is not possible that the
problem is the Layer 1 that goes down for power saving. During the "InAlarm: 1"
I can still receive inbound calls but if I try to call outgoing I have the
error from Asterisk that all the channels are busy now. After this error to
clear the Alarm I have to restart Asterisk. I have some old installations of
Asterisk with old versions of bristuff that have no problem. I saw that the
problem there is with some new versions (I tested the version test6 and the
last RC3c).

I have this problem with a Telecom Italia ISDN line and with a Fastweb ISDN
line. Fastweb provides ISDN in Italy with a BRI interface in a Cisco Router. I
am available to provide logs to try to address this problem.
Any help?
Stefano.
