Kind of following on from Adams E Mail. On the 21st/22nd of
October Sheffield and the Phat Eds will be hosting a beginners
tournament at the Concorde Sports centre. There will be space for 16
beginners teams ( maximum one coach per team on pitch at any one time
) and 8 experienced sides who will play in a mini tournament
at the same time ( To show the beginners how it's done ). As those of
you who have played there will already know the Concorde has a good
set up for frisbee with a large spectators gallery, electronic
scoreboard etc and the fact that it has been used many times in the
past means the staff are pretty tolerant of flying discs, rowdy calls
etc. There should be plenty of floorspace available for those of you
who want it and the party is in the process of being arranged.
The concorde sports centre has now been taken over by Sheffield
International Venues who unfortunately will no longer cut us any
deals so the price will be �80 per team.
Hope you can all make it especially those of you for whom
Edinburgh is too far away.
