The position of Women’s
Co-ordinator will become vacant at the AGM, so this message is to anyone out
there who may be interested in taking over this
role.
A brief
description of the role is as follows: 1. To maintain
an up-to-date contact list of female players (in conjunction with the BUF
Secretary) 2. To ensure
that a Women’s Indoor Nationals and a Women’s Outdoor Nationals take place,
although the postholder does not necessarily have to organise
them 3. Find ways to
encourage more women to play in general, regardless of preference of
division.(E.g. regional/general practices, tournaments other than nationals
events, investigate any problems/difficulties female players may face, look at
ways for teams to recruit and keep more female players etc. NB – these are just suggestions and are
by no means set in stone.) 4. Generally,
to represent the interests of women playing
ultimate. Anyone that is
