Dear All,

Ali (ex Mohawks) has made a couple of valid points. Being an outdoor
tournament, a 2-5 experienced to newbie ratio is probably a better idea.
Also, because it is so early and the newbies will be so green, we might have
to make some adaptations.

So, either we have it later and risk the weather turning (more) sour, or ...

We have the Saturday as a coaching clinic, party through 3 pint challenges
on the night, then play the games on Sunday.

Personally I am loathe to move the dates back. I actually think that the
clinic idea has legs. We could divide players according to ability, coach
them at a suitable level to suit the individual with more hands to help the
really new players, get them exposed to the fact that there are a LOT of
beginners and they aren't particularly unco, and spend some time teaching
basic tactics and strategy while pooling the knowledge of all the coaches
and experienced players, and then letting them scrimmage a bit. Then party.
Then play ulty OUTDOORS!

So this is draft 2, still waiting for a show of hands.

Cheers

Adam
