Right, here it is, the official invitation to what I hope to a fun and not too shambolic effort at helping new players love the game. UCL will be hosting a Beginner's tournament on the 14/15 weekend at Regent's Park. Entry fee is #40 per team or #4 per person if more than 10 people show up per team. Tournament format will be decided once all the RSVPs are in and we know how many to account for. Changing facilities are being negotiated but on site showers are not guaranteed. There are showers at ULU on Malet street which people should be able to use. Day one will be a clinic day with experienced players manning speicific stations for Rules, Throws, Tactics, Catching and Defense. There might be a scrimmage after the clinics. There will be a Saturday party SOMEWHERE, so please bring NUS / ISIC student cards. Sleeping arrangements are ad hoc.
