Dear Mr "Sucks"

Something I have constantly failed to understand about certain members of
the ultimate community is their antipathy towards indoor ultimate.

Indoor ultimate is certainly not the same as outdoor ultimate in terms of
the stamina and disk skills needed and few people would claim that it was -
but why do you have a problem with that?

Indoor ultimate is fun to play and a good way to keep fit without having to
brave the elements in the lovely British winter. Yes, there are injury
problems with walls/floors indoors but, from what I have seen, I would say
that there were just as many injuries sustained in outdoor matches.

Why can you not accept it as a different game with the same relationship as,
say 11 a side football to 5 a side football? - Both have their advantages
and disadvantages but you dont hear 11 a side teams calling for 5 a side to
be banned.

As for being "detrimental to the long term future of ultimate" - why should
a venue which is so" beginner friendly" be detrimental to the future of the
sport?

If you dont enjoy playing indoor ultimate - Dont slag it off using an
anonymous identity - just dont play it.

Helen
