If your cheque was late, and the tournament is full by the time yours is received,
it's your own fault!
At the same time the Tour Rules clearly state the principle of the Tour Waiting List,
and how, in the event of oversubscription, teams near the bottom of the rankings of
the previous event will be refused entry in favour of new teams...
Looks like you're not going!

PS: These are entirely personal opinions, so may well be phrased in a manner that may
annoy (especially as I haven't read the initial mail that you've forwarded).
u8c (and the DoC in particular) put in a LOT of hard work, VOLUNTARILY. They don't get
as much thanks as they ought.
PPS: in case you're wondering:
