Dear All
I am very sorry to have to inform you of the death
of Andrew Perkins aka Beak. He played for Druids, Scorpions and Tetragrammaton
(yes the Old Druids) from about 1981 to 1992 when he was diagnosed with cancer
and had a lung removed. He has been fighting to survive ever since never loosing
his incredible sense of humour or his positive outlook on the world. Beak and
Paul Macer-Wright are the people you can thank for the Ross-on-Wye Tournament
and the founding of the Ross team which has now evolved into the Fluid Druids.
Yes he was one of the people who taught me how to play.
He passed away early on Monday morning 18th June
2001 at 39 years of age leaving his wife Julie and his children Nicola, 11 and
James, 8. The funeral is in Milford Haven on Saturday 23rd June at 1.45pm.

specify on Monday after the funeral.
