In the Open, Clapham are still unbeaten having brushed aside Druids (17-9)
and Flying Angels (17-8) yesterday. Chevron remain third in the pool having
beaten Sipoo Odd Stars (17-9) and Druids (16-10). Druids are currently
bottom of the pool with 4 losses out of 4.
In the second division, Leeds Leeds Leeds are going well having won all 3
games (Fusion 17-7 and Craic 17-7). Red pulled off some good wins over
Stockholm (17-12) and TheBigZ (18-16). Fusion did finally get a win though
beating Stockholm in sudden death (18-19).
The junior division is looking so close. GB Juniors having beaten Sweden and
Finland have now slumped to two defeats by France (both by just two points)
and one by Sweden. However, Finland recorded a victory over Sweden, so all 4
teams look very competitive. I don't think we've ever had a junior division
this close. At the end of this round robin, they have semis, but with only 4
teams, they are merely jostling for positions. The real matches are tomorrow
morning with semis at 9.
Bliss continue to brush aside all opponents in their division beating Milder
Norden 17-10 and Espoo 17-6. With only Yahoo to play, Bliss look pretty
certain to go in to the quarters as top seeds.
In the mixed division, BAF picked up a couple of wins over Osmosis (17-10)
and Yn Milano (17-8) leaving them third in their pool. Strange Blue are
lying fourth in their pool having beaten Jet set (17-13) yesterday but lost
to Clac Clac (6-17).
