Andy,
1 free year of eligibilty starting the day they ask for it (or the date of
the first official tournament they take part in.) I guess.
Someone could happily trundle along to non-official tournament for years and
then decide they want to try out the Indoor Nationals or the Tour at which
point they take advantage of the free year of eligibility. Its a hook to get
people try 'serious' ultimate essentially.
Two important points are:-
1. This is not available to you or I who have already played in a few (!)
official tournaments already.
2. Its only eligibilty to play - it does not mean we're giving away the
newsletter, etc for free for a year. (though this might become viable in the
future if funds allow and if it seems worthwhile)
Ben
