Dear All,

As per my email attached below please could you make sure your contact
details are up to date on the BUF website at www.ukultimate.com

I am about to send out ballot papers for approving the new players
association. As I have not managed to meet my deadline of 24th September for
mailing this information to you, I am happy to postpone the return deadline
to Wednesday 3rd of October.

As has been stated before, you will be able to return your response by email
if it is more convenient.

Thanks

Ben Ravilious
BUF Secretary

> HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU
>
> It is the intention of the BUF Committee to dissolve the BUF in favour of
a
> player-membership organisation similar to the Ultimate Players Association
> in the USA. To do this we will need the approval of a majority of the
teams
> who constitute the BUF.
>
> Because it has become impossible to get sufficient team representatives
> round the table at AGM we will hold a postal/email ballot of all the teams

> WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
>
> 1. UPDATE and RESUBMIT the information listed for your team on
> www.ukultimate.com. We need current addresses and working
> emails please. Any problems with the website *please* let us know.
>
> 2. Read through the association proposal document
> (http://www.ukultimate.com/docs/assoc.htm) and also the draft constitution
> which I will circulate shortly.
>
> 3. Discuss the proposal with your team and on the email groups.
>

> also be happy to receive your response via email also.

>
> PLEASE make sure you are fully aware of what we are proposing. We cannot
act
