These directions were taken from the yellow pages
site (www.yell.co.uk) which has map
function and can plan your route.
To pitches:
From M1 J16
Take A45 to Daventry. Keep on the A45 (Stefen
Way) until roundabout at junction of A45 and A425. Go straight across this
roundabout into Browns Road. Daventry Sports Park is on the left after
about 100 metres.
From M1 J18
Follow signs to the A5 South. Head South on
A5 until you reach the A361. Follow A 361 to Daventry. Turn right
and follow the Daventry ring road (still A361). Turn left on A45 (Daventry
ring road) at roundabout. Straight over next roundabout then right at the
next (still on A45). At the second roundabout, (junction of A45 and A425)
turn right into Browns Road. Daventry Sports Park is on the left after
about 100 metres.
From M40 J11
Take the A361 to Daventry. (Watch for speed
cameras in the little villages!) Turn left on to the A45 (Stefan Way) at
Daventry. (Beware, this junction appears without warning, but is
signposted 'locally' to Drayton Fields. If you go too far you will pass
over the A45 and be heading south towards Northampton and will need to turn
around.) At the first roundabout go straight across into Browns
Road. Daventry Sports Park is on the left after about 100
metres.
To the Hotel:
As pitches except at final roundabout (junction of
A425 and A45)- follow A425 sign posted to Staverton. Staverton Park
Conference Centre is about half a mile on the right.
To camping:
Meadows farm is off the A361 from Daventry to
Banbury. From the junction of the A425 and A45, follow A45 south.
Then take A361 south towards Bady and Banbury. After about a mile, just
before the village of Badby, turn left onto B4037. Follow the road about a
half mile. Meadows Farm is on the left.
If you are camping- please be
respectful:
Don't park on the field- please
stay on the grass around it.
Keep any fires in containers
(i.e. proper BBQ's)
Please try to keep the noise
down near the house.
