Ben, I'd recommend yahoo groups as a good, but not excellent, choice. SkuMy and the Reading group both operate through them and there's no spam (but in my mind BD is pretty damn good anyway).
The only big draw-back is that it won't look particularly "professional" and that's part of the point of the Association I thought. Anyway, as I'm not a techy I won't try and advocate too far there are probably plenty of people out there who can give you a better picture! Cheers, Angie PS Great reply to Steve's point the other day, nicely diffused a few people's anger! >From: "Ben Ravilious" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "BRITDISC" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: e-groups >Date: Thu, 28 Mar 2002 09:33:40 -0000 > >We do need to set up some new email lists for everyone. > >I think Britdisc is quite vunerable to spam because its not moderated >automatically (you don't have to be subscribed to post to it) > >I think we'll probably go for yahoogroups or something similar (anyone got >any advice/preferences?)
