TOUR TWO : EXETER 18th & 19th May 2002 Dear All
You are invited to Tour Two in Exeter being held at the University's Duckes Meadow Pitches on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of May. The deadline for all entrants is Friday 3rd of May. ENTRY FEE - �80 per team. In an effort to re-address the rising tournament entry fees, we have kept the entry fee as low as possible for all teams. A separate Women's Tour will run alongside the Open Tour if there are sufficient numbers entering. We have space for 40 teams in total. CAMPING/B&B - As usual at Exeter tournaments, free camping is available courtesy of Double Locks Inn with 24hr toilet facilities open to all. Changing rooms with hot showers are available back at the pitches which are less than 10 minutes walk away (or a 10 minute drive?). A list of local B&B / Guest Houses are available on request. As usual, you are reminded that Double Locks make their profit from selling beer and food, so please don't get caught consuming your own on their land. There is space for about 200 camping if we are considerate about pitching tents, and we have been known to spill over on to South West water land next door (not strictly legal, so if you do this, please take your tent down quickly in the morning). Camping is available anytime but please don't leave anything of any value in your tents during the day. We haven't known any thefts from tents before, but there have been a number of break-ins to cars so please don't offer any obvious targets. GRUB - We should have Exeter Woodcraft providing hot and cold food through the tournament along with the burger van that was there for the Hat tournament last year. Double Locks sell superb food, and there are numerous restaurants in town. DIRETIONS - These will be emailed out nearer the time and maps will be placed on a web site.
