As some of you may know, a group of us Christians have started to meet during tournaments. I thought that I would briefly explain why this occurs for anyone who is interested / thinks it is weird. Also there is an egroup that anyone is welcome to join for Christians in Ultimate. Details below.
A large part of the Christian faith is built around meeting with other Christians. Hence church. The nature of tournaments means that we don't get to go to church as such, and this is why we meet up at weekends. It means that we can support each other in a place where it can be hard to be a Christian. It also provides an opportunity fo us to pray for team mates and any issues that they may have.
The egroup that we have set up is so that we can keep in contact and arrange a time and place to meet. The subscription email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] (blank message) Anybody who is interested is more than welcome to join, you don't have to be a Christian. If you have anything that you would like prayer for then send me an email. I can pass it on to the group, it can remain anonymous if you wish.
