~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COPA CABANA INVITATIONAL Nottingham Moderns/Wilford Meadows, Nottingham UK In previous years, here in Nottingham, we have abused the weekend at the end of August to play Co-ed or Mixed Ultimate in the festival atmosphere of the Copa Cabana. Fortunately and unfortunately for us, this August Bank Holiday coincides with the Mixed Nationals Championships. Therefore we have moved our favourite Tournament forward to August 2/3/4th 2002, to offer an event of international flavour with the expected fun of the big COPA Marquee, BBQs and profligacy. The Copa Cabana Party atmosphere will rock you through day and night at this awesome event. FLYGHTCLUB would like to invite you to enter the COPA CABANA Event!!! 2nd, 3rd & 4th August 2002 Here are the preliminary details. 20 Teams over 5 pitches. COPA CABANA Marquee supporting Music from around the region ALL day, ALL weekend! Bar till some unfeasible time in the morning! LOCATION Nottingham, at the Moderns/Wilford Meadows: On site Bar with en suite changing rooms (hot water forever), next to the meadows & gardens of the River Trent and lass than half a mile away, The National Watersports Centre (including sailing lakes and purpose built canoe slalom. East Midlands Airport is within 15km of the City and Train links via London Manchester, Birmingham and Hull are relatively inexpensive. Also There are several �ethnic/geographic teams, namely Asian, All American, & Club Med� all three can accept a couple more players, and Club Med NEEDS some. Please let me know if you or any of your team mates are interested Any other teams with odd kinds of connections are particularly welcome (remember Skinny Sumo? No me neither).
