Apologies to [BD] people that aren't interested, but London Ultimate
Players are a bunch of slackers...

Event 1 happens on Sunday 20 October 2002.

I need definite confirmation of which teams are planning to attend - I
haven't heard from several of you (* Chevron; Poco; Red; Albatross;
Pyramus; Axis)

SEEDING
This is VERY PROVISIONAL as some teams * haven't yet confirmed that they
definitely want to attend this time.

Seedings are based on Nationals and Tour results, and then a complete
random guess!
PLEASE PROVIDE FEEDBACK to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'd like to get this finalised by Wednesday night.

Division 1 (nats/tour)
 1. Clapham Ultimate (01/01)
 2. Chevron Action Flash (02/02) *
 3. Fluid Druids (03/04)
 4. TeamShark (04/03)
 5. Un Poco Loco (06/05) *
 6. Whey! (08/11)
 7. Smash & Grab (09/07)
 8. Red (10/08) *

Division 2
 9. Regents Park Massive (13/13) Hammerage
10. Albatross (24/30) *
11. Bad Habits (26/28)
12. Mohawks (NA/39) Mohawk Mwnci Magic
13. Sublime (NA/43)
14. Red Dog (NA/NA)
15. Under Cover Lovers (NA/NA)
16. Disc Doctors (NA/NA)

17. Pyramus & Frisbee (NA/NA) *
18. Axis Of Apathy (NA/NA) *

Note, there's only really room for 8 teams in Division 2! (unless you
guys want to work out your own format & schedule)

At this rate Albatross, Pyramus & Axis may get left out (sorry, guys!)
For that matter, Chevvy; Poco and Red might get left out, and some of
our current Div 2 teams get promoted to Div 1

Teams that have confirmed they will not be attending.
North South Divide (23/31)

Gareth Jones (Red Dog) and Lewis Glover (Sublime/Fluid Druids) have
volunteered to do the "on the day" admin for Division 2.
Hopefully this will just involve making sure everyone understands the
schedule, getting everyone started on time, collating scores and working
out the match-ups for the final games. I hope that teams can otherwise
look after themselves.

Please be on location before 10:00am. Games start at 10:30am.

~ Ensure you bring plenty of snacks and water with you - there
won't be any time to go get some during the day
~ The schedule for the day is pretty much non-stop, please try to
        stick to it:
be ready early for the first games; move promptly between
pitches and try to avoid delaying starts to later games
~ Games to 15 points, with halftime at 8
~ Halftime: no stoppage - just reverse the ends/pull from the
        beginning of the game
~ Timeouts: 1 per team. Max duration 2 minutes.
~ Timecap: 60 minutes
~ At timecap, complete the point, and assess the score.
~ If scores are equal, play "Penalty Shootout"
~ Penalty Shootout:
        Team A pulls to Team B. Team B plays O. If/when there is a
        turnover, the point is over;
Team B pulls to Team A...
Repeat until Team B scores without reply, or Team A scores after
        Team B hasn't.
