You cried again as we decided to drop the name Yorkie Bar Kids in favour of the trendy modern acronym YBK. This gradual loss of our identity began to worry certain members of the University of York Ultimate Frisbee Club. We decided that enough was enough and formed a select committee to address the issue. We pooled together some of the brightest minds in the UK, mixed in a couple of creative geniuses and decided to come up with a new name. After months of deliberation we began to close in on a moniker that would sum up the spirit of the club and its special brand of ultimate. Something stylish... ...sleek.... ...elegant... ..exciting... and above all totally original. Well here it is folks. Hope it was worth the wait. The new name of the University of York Ultimate Frisbee Club is.. drum roll please York Ultimate. Worth the millions spent on the consultants I'm sure you'll agree. Catch us competing for the first time under our new name at the Sheffield beginners tournament.
