Actually Ben, we did try to put our event (Great Barr Crawl 2) onto the UKU site, but our request hasn't been put taken on board yet, despite a reminder. Unfortunately for you, the event is now full and has reserves.
I shall try again to put the event on there, for what it is worth. Perhaps the response time should be looked at? (or perhaps the UKU admin staff have better things to do. No I am not being sarcastic, I am trying to show a balanced viewpoint)

Subject: [BD] Indoor events:
I've got two general questions about indoor ultimate this winter.
We're trying to get brookes university playing ultimate and one of
our targets is to get a team to play in student indoor regionals.
I've not been following this especially closely but, I don't
seem to have noticed the event advertised anywhere, and it is not
mentioned on the UKU events page on the website. Where is
information like this posted? Can those organising the event get
it up on the uku site?
Secondly, passing through the flurry in my inbox there were a
couple of indoor tournaments running early next year. These don't
appear to be on the UKU events website either. Could some one
take it apon themselves to put these events up onto the website or
better still tell me.
I know that I can look back over the britdisc archive for the
events but I can't remember who's hosting them. I also know that
most teams who will go will already know the story so there is not
so much incentive to publish the events. I just haven't been too
involved with indoors of late.
cheers
ben
PS Has the possiblity of mirroring the posts to britdisc on a
newsgroup ever been considered (I'm not knocking britdisc which
does a great job)? ??
