Sunday saw "Match day 1" of the Northern Winter League.
Although expecting 10 teams, Lancaster pulled out by not turning up on, so all team who were meant to be playing them were given a game break.
The weather was great, the play looked was excellent and the highlight of the day was the very vivid double rainbow that appeared in the afternoon.
The format - Full league fixtures for the first 2 events, 3 points for a win, 2 points for a sudden death win, 1 point for a sudden death loss and nothing for a greater loss.

Thank you for all the teams that turned up and made it a success and our thoughts are with the young girl from Jedi who was seriously injured in the final game.
