***Important Information - please read carefully*** PRACTICE INFORMATION: GB practice is scheduled to take place on Saturday 9th November and at present will be at Banbury School (the same venue as Tour 3 was this summer) and directions follow. The UKU Association is not in a position to completely subsidise the cost of hiring the pitches so it will be necessary for everyone attending to pay a small fee (�3 each). The practice will start at 10.30am. There will be changing facilities and possibly a clubhouse available. However, due to the amount of rain that has fallen recently there is a possibility that the pitches will be too waterlogged to play on and we won't be able to use them. I will not know until Thursday afternoon/Friday morning that the pitches are unusable, so it is imperative that everyone checks to see whether or not the practice is going ahead. Obviously cancelling the practice altogether is the last thing I want to do, but will have to unless I can make a contingency plan for an alternative venue last minute. If anyone can help me, I'd be very grateful.
Please make sure that you check your email again before Saturday and pass on any further information to those who may not be on britdisc. If we are unable to use Banbury I will put something out on britdisc as soon as I know. I will also try and put something on the website events calendar. SQUAD MANAGERS/CAPTAINS If anyone is interested in running/managing any of the GB squads or putting forward proposals for how they should be run or organised, it is not too late to submit bids or proposals. Some bids have already been received but the process has not been finalised and if further bids are received then the UKU committee will make the final decision based upon the proposals received.
