Hi Guys, The closing deadline for entries to the Scottish student regionals is next monday; There are now only 7 spaces remaining and I am still to recieve cheques and/or an indication of intent from Dundee, Stirling and Aberdeen Universities. As stated in the initial email priority will be given to first teams, but beyond that places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Further details will follow, but you can expect the same mixture of fun, organisation , competition and complete randomness you've come to expect from a Glasgow run tournament. The tournament will be held on the 23rd and 24th of november in the Arc (same venue as last two years). We are expecting a 16 team tournament but can accomodate 20 at a stretch, with preference for places being given to first teams and allocated on a first come first served basis thereafter. Cheques for £90 per team made payable to GUUFC should be sent to: Far Flung c/o Philip Webb Flat 1/4 3 Mingarry St Glasgow G20 8NP and should include contact details for your team. This year there will be a cut-off date of the monday preceding the tournament (18th) so that schedules can be made up and posted in advance. As well as all the usual stuff we are planning to incorporate an overall clubs competition into the weekend taking account of every teams position so it's not just all about qualifying for nationals.
