Another reason perhaps why voting has been poor this year is due to the lack 
of candidates, particularly for the named positions on the board. I believe 
I'm correct in saying that for the named positions, (secretary, chairman, 
treasurer etc) there is only one candidate running. If your vote cannot make 
a difference then why bother (especially as there seems to be no quoracy 
issue at this point)

On a second point (and this one could well just be me being a bit thick and 
failing to look stuff up) i for one am not certain how clear it has been 
made how many positions there are on the board, and whether all the named 
positions have candidates running for them (I have a feeling there were more 
named positions last year), and what the criteria are for filling any 
un-manned named positions (if thre are any, or if any become available in 
the year) - will one of the 'without portfolio' candidates do it or will 
there be a second round of elections?
