Thanks for getting back to us Paul. Perhaps if so many of us fail to comprehend the
written rules, they will need to be ammended/appended to/rewritten for next year. It's
a slight loophole that we allow the entry of new teams, yet fail to indicate what kind
of entrance priority they get in the grand scheme of things, so looking forward, I
think this should be changed.

Another thing that has crossed my mind - do the UKUA authorities keep a shortlist of
good tournament venues? I think the Bristol venue was superb - it coped with the large
entry, had good food, and free camping - measuring that up with the Daventry venue I
think we'll all agree it didn't live up to expectations. It'd perhaps be a good idea
to keep this on record somewhere - post tournament each venue is given a score based
on how it fulfills different requirements (maximum size, camping, food,
accessibility), the venues are then ranked based on this score, and we'll then
automatically know of our favourite venues for tour events. If we go the way of two
divisions in future, we don't nessecarily need massive venues, as each division could
be held in separate places.

Just a thought - this could be done as a survey on the UKUA site, you take the
averages as the final scores, and rank upon that.

Dan
