Oh my god ... stop your whining! Tournament organisers and the DoC have enough logistical problems to deal with. They do a great job with very little thanks. Keep up the hard work guys... some of us appreciate your hard work and dedication.
This sort of thing happens, deal with it! It's quite simple if you don't want to end up below them .. don't get beaten by them. If you do lose, learn from it and train harder. Personally I welcome Paddy Murphy. Unfortunately I didn't see them play at the BritOpen, but if they play as hard as they party and sing then I am really looking forward to playing them. Also this point of teams getting entered ahead of other teams: It's not a good enough excuse to say I sent the cheque to arrive on the deadline date. Lets face it the mail service in this country is not very reliable. If you want to make sure your cheque arrives in time aim to have it there at least a week before the deadline! LESS TALK MORE ULTIMATE! On a more positive note: I would like to say that the GB squads are looking hot and hope you all go and kick some Euro trash butt! What's the deal with Paddy Murphy? Are we talking an irish team in a similar way to Pookas etc, or are we talking The Irish National Open team here? I'm asking becasue their current seeding may directly affect us on the saturday (Atomic Horse seeded 18), and if not will definitely affect some of McFly, Flyght Club, STD, NSD etc. Also, starting from a position in the 17-24 group, the highest any team can finish is 13. If Paddy Murphy is the Irish Open team then wouldn't they be looking at top 12, if not top 8? Sorry to mention this, but like STD we worked really hard at T2 with only 9 players (8 on sunday) to try and stay as high up as possible to challenge for 13-16 this time round. Facing a team that could be, say, as strong as Teamshark, Clapham 2 or Fusion would be a bit pointless for us, especially when against some of the lower top 16 teams like Red Dog, Hammerage, S&G, MMJ we would feel we would have a close and competitive game.
