Just a big THANK YOU to all those I managed to catch up with during my whistle-stop tour of England the other week - especially those who kindly put me up and ferried me around!
I was so lucky to cram both a disc golf and a mixed ultimate event into the two weeks I was in the country. Just to reassure all those that were in hiding during my trip, YES - I am safely back in New Zealand, you can come out again now! It was a shame that I missed a lot of faces I had hoped to see on my visit - Rik, Jess, John P, Max, the whole of Scotland - but I did enjoy sharing a beer or three with old friends and a few new ones! Thanks to all in the Shocker! team for letting me jog around an ultimate pitch again - it was fantastic! Also a big thank you to Rich Sampson and the disc golfers for an awesome weekend in Aylesbury! The biggest surprise was the two weeks of June sunshine - what has happened to Britain in my absence??
