Directions to Concord Sports Centre from M1:-
Exit M1 at junction 34 and head away from Sheffield towards Rotherham
on Meadow Bank Road,
At the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit along Wortley Road,
Carry on a long this road and take the 4th left turn after the Grange
Park Golf Course which is on your left, this road is called Grange
Lane,
This road goes back under the motorway and comes to a T-junction where
you take a right and then immediate left on to Bellhouse Road,
Then take the 6th left turn onto Shiregreen Lane, and the Concord
Sports centre is on your left after 500m.
Directions from Broomhill and the Union Building to Concord Sports Centre:-B
From Broomhill follow the road down the hill towards the Union
Building and the university roundabout,
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, carrying on down the hill until
the next roundabout where you take the 1st / straight on exit,
At the next roundabout, go straight across (second exit) and carry on
down the one-way system to the end where you take a left turn on to
Mowbray Street(B6074),
Follow this road and then take the next major right turn which is
Rutland Road (B6070),
At the end of this road take a left onto Burngreave Road / Barnsley
Road (A6135),
Follow this road until you get to a major junction, at this junction
take a right and then the immediate left fork onto Firth Park Road
(B6086),
At the roundabout take the right hand turn (4th exit) which is
Bellhouse Road,
Then take the 5th right turn and the Concord Sports Centre is on your
left after 500m.
Direction from M1 Junction 33 to the Union Building and Broomhill:-
Follow all signs for A57 to Glossop and this will lead you to Broomhill
From the motorway take the road towards Sheffield City Centre,
Follow this road unit you get to a traffic lights / roundabout where
you stay in the middle lane and go straight across,
The next roundabout is the Ponds Forge Round about, as shown on the
map, take the 3rd exit down the left hand side of the Ponds Forge
Swimming Pool,
Carry on along this road and you pass the Train Station just before a
roundabout, at the roundabout get into the middle lane and take the
1st exit and then the right fork at the traffic lights,
Carry on straight through the traffic light until you get to a
junction with a dual carriageway where you take a right turn on to the
dual carriageway,
Follow the dual carriage way straight across 2 large roundabouts until
you pass a Tram Stop in the middle of the road, after which is the
University roundabout where you take a left turn up the hill,
Follow this road and it pass the Union Building on your left, and then
the road lead to bromhill if you carry on up the hill.
