Due to the rather large distances involved in Scotland, we'll be holding regular monthly practices over a whole weekend - rather than short weekly practices - in order to justify travelling so far. The idea is to train (and play) with your local uni team, and then play the tours in the summer with STD.
Training starts on Saturday 29th November in Aberdeen, and will move round the country each month, to Edinburgh and St. Andrews, and anywhere else we pick up players from.
We'll train hard and play hard, and we'll play in the 'A' tour, but we'll have a big piss-up on the saturday night of each practice in order to foster team spirit. We intend to prove that high-intensity frisbee can be fun.
Anyone who's interested in playing for us this year (we know there are good scottish-based players out there who don't play for Fusion) drop me a line as soon as possible. We are officially nice guys, and we have the UKU certificate to prove it.
So all those talented folk at dundee, stirling, glasgow, edinburgh, strathclyde and inverness, get in touch.
