Here are directions to GB training in Leeds on Saturday. Start time is 10.30am.
M621 Junction 2 - following signs for Headingley stadium. Coming from the South (and East) and M1, this is a right turn at the roundabout after leaving the motorway. Coming from the West and M62, it is left at this roundabout. Follow the dual carriageway until you reach a large roundabout with traffic lights (just after going under a railway bridge). Take the exit for the A58 (right at the roundabout). As you exit the roundabout, you'll go under another railway bridge - get over into the left lane as soon as you can. After a short while take the slip road signposted A65 Skipton. This is Kirkstall road. Head along the A65, out of Leeds towards Kirkstall - past quite a few second hand car places, and you'll eventually come to a big junction, with Kirkstall Leisure centre on the far right corner (I think the the B6157 will be signed) at which point you need to take the left filter lane, and at the traffic lights 100 yards further on take another left into the shopping area (there is a JJB, Boots, Dunn Stores and Morrisons) and you will see the Rugby academy at the mini roundabout, turn right into the academy to park. If this is full the Morrisons car park will be the over flow. To then get to the pitches cross the field behind the Academy building, and you'll come out onto a main road, cross the road and turn left. At the traffic lights take the drive on the right hand side (just over the bridge). Do not park at the fields or in Alders car park. These directions are valid from the train station as well, as the A65 is a main arterial road.
