Hi all, All teams who are attending Indoor nationals should by now have received an email reminding them that UKUA Membership is REQUIRED, and informing them that the first phase of the new website is up. This allows you to pay for your membership online.
Please make every effort to pay for your membership online BEFORE turning up at the Indoor Nationals venue on Saturday. The process is very simple: 1. Go to www.ukultimate.com 2. Click on "Register with the UKUA" (if you registered on the old site since 1st September 2003 you can just login). 3. Fill out you name, DoB and other contact details You have now registered with UK Ultimate as an "Online Member only". To play in the Indoor National Finals you need to have some form of paid membership. 4. Click on "Renew / Upgrade your membership" and choose the membership type applicable to you. 5. Click on the "Renew Now" button to launch the PayPal payment process. 6. Click on "Checkout" and then on "If you have never paid through PayPal, Click here". 7. Enter your credit card and other payment details YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE FULL PAYPAL REGISTRATION, which involves checking statements and so on. 8. That's it. When you are done you will be emailed a payment receipt from Paypal. Now simply close the paypal window (take a note of the reference first)and click on "Return to your Start Page" on the UKU site. You will see your membership type is now changed. Do not be concerned if this process seems complex, it is not, IT IS VERY SIMPLE. If you pay in advance of the tournament you will not have to waste time on Sat morning waiting in a queue and filling out forms and writing cheques (which you will be REQUIRED to do BEFORE PLAYING). If you insist on paying by cheque on Saturday morning you MUST at least register on ukultimate.com first.
