Entering Tour Tournaments. Every Tour tournament has a closing date set by the TD. This applies to only the payment of the entry fee to the TD. If a tournament is over-subscribed at the closing date there is a system for distributing places, [4.B]. If a tournament is under-subscribed it may remain possible for teams to enter (strictly on a first-pay, first-in basis). Teams are advised to enter a tournament as soon as they know they wish to compete, however see the rules on Blacklist [4.C] and Default Penalties [4.D]. A. Entry Procedure 1. A team must pay the tournament entry fee in full to the TD, by the closing date. 2. The TD will set the closing date for each event. 3. Full payment to the TD may not be required, by arrangement with the TD. 4. A team may withdraw from a tournament up to the closing date and then receive a full refund of any payments that have been made. A representative from the team must tell both the TD and the Mixed Committee [EMAIL PROTECTED] B. Distribution of places 1. Tour Events: The host club is guaranteed one entry into the tournament. Should they already have qualified for the tournament from the previous event then they are not entitled to any more automatic spaces. 2. The top sixteen teams at the previous event are entitled to automatic entry into the next event. However this may be reduced to fifteen depending on the host club (See 4.B.1, above) 3. Remaining positions at the event are filled based on the following order; i. Teams unable to enter the previous event due to over-subscription or non-entry. (Returning from blacklisting does not entitle a team to a priority space (See Blacklisting, 4.C) ii. The highest placed teams after the previous event, starting with 17th and working downwards. iii. Any other team wishing to enter. 4. Once the entry deadline has passed, any unfilled places at the tournament are available to be filled by the TD, at their discretion. **************************************************************** Wincanton plc is a leading European provider of supply chain solutions.
