Hello BritDisc, Uni Ultimate and Women of Ultimate, Following the success of the 2003 Lookfly UKUA Fresher Pack scheme, we are pleased to announce the launch of Freshers Packs 2004!
Last year, University and College Team Presidents and Organisers representing over 50 teams applied for over 3000 packs putting Lookfly over budget and nearly out of business. But we didn't care because it was worth it! The student indoor/ourdoor season was more succesful than ever with recruitment and retention of new players significantly up on previous years and many teams even boasting squads of over 50 players. As previously, Freshers Packs are to be given away at Freshers Week to all new students who sign up to Ultimate teams and are provided free of charge by Lookfly (kindly supported by the UKUA) to all University and College Ultimate organisers. And this year will see Lookfly harnessing the power of technology as all Freshers Packs will take the form of a free CD information pack, containing details about the UKUA, rules, a description of Ultimate, UKUA background, contact details and a multimedia feature from Roadie Films. The Pack will also include money-off offers from Lookfly, competitions, and the Lookfly Quick Guide to Ultimate with Indoor, Outdoor and Dancefloor tips for new recruits. Again it sounds too good to be true, we know. And again we can only imagine what you're thinking now..."Did Bill really die from Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique or was he faking it???"...and although that is important it's not as important as spreading the word about this to your local University and College Ultimate Teams. An application form for the Lookfly UKUA Freshers Pack scheme from Lookfly to "wow!" your Freshers and make other Clubs and Societies positively jealous for two years running are available at: http://www.lookfly.com/fresherspacks.htm Good luck to all students for the 2004/05 season!
