Hi All, The 11th Quarry Park Open takes place in Leamington Spa on 25-26th June, and it is "open" to YOU to take part if you pay the entry fee. It's 2 x 18 holes on Saturday 1 x 18 + 1 x 12 on Sunday plus 6 hole final for the top 5 Open and top 5 Ams Camping at the nearby Rugby Club which is where the saturday night BBQ social will be. Fee is £18 less cumulative £2 deductions for all the following reasons: Quarry Park member, BDGA member, full time student or unemployed, disc golf tournament virgin. If 2 days is too much for you, you can play just Saturday with a reduced fee. Fee includes lunch both days. There will be assorted prizes too. The course is already in good shape, and will be looking at its best for the tournament. It is set in 15 acres by the river Avon and has been landscaped specifically for disc golf, with a couple of thousand trees planted over 10 years. There will be all standards of players, and you can use ultimate discs if you like. There will loads of golf discs and bags on sale at the course. (you can also buy them from me by mail order) We have 44 players registered so far and look set to have 50 or more. The course is also available at other times, if you want to come and have a round with a few friends. The cost is £5 for a round or £8 for a day, with reduced rates for full time students. There are more details on the web at www.quarrypark.co.uk Make this the year that you try disc golf! Derek Robins 01926 864136 07780 727921
