There are two Masters slots available for the 2006 Worlds Club Championships.

So far, two teams have expressed an interest in taking these slots - BAF and Bristol. The UKUA Committee have set a deadline of 15th January for these slots to be taken by interested teams - if no other team comes forward before this date then the slots will be awarded to those two teams (upon their confirmation and payment of the £1,000 deposit).

This does not mean that these two clubs are now required to take these slots and therefore relinquish any interest they might have in playing in any other division - any decision over which slot to take is open until 15th January. However, it would make the committee's life much easier if all eligible clubs were to come to a swift decision about which division they wish to play in, and indeed whether they wish to go at all.

In the event of more than two teams being interested in the Masters slots by the deadline, a play-off will be arranged.

Just for clarification, in 2006 Masters is open to anyone who is 32+. Full rostering rules for all teams in all divisions are available on the Perth website.
