National Indoor Finals will take place in Bath on the 18/19 March. Details will be posted later by the TD (Tara Jewell), but the following promises can be made now:

TEN games for each team, a total of around FOUR AND A HALF hours pitch time. With smaller indoor squads, that's more pitch-time-per-person than some outdoor tourneys I could name (Ahem...B-tour). And the new rules will reduce the time spent fetching the disc and hanging around between points.

Tournament Semis and Final (at least), and everyone's last game, to be played on a full-size 40x20m pitch. (The others on 32x18m, with at least 1.5m space all round for safety.) We're not yet sure how it will work out financially, but the option of using the third hall for part of the weekend may enable yet more big pitch games. But the semis and last games are guaranteed to be big pitch.

And it doesn't clash with any student or Junior or WL events.

Plus food and floor space and all the other stuff you need at a tournament.

What's that? You fancy playing in this? But you don't have a team in qualifiers yet?

The bad news - unlike last year, when things got confused, NO TEAM will attend Nationals that didn't attend qualifiers.

THE GOOD NEWS - there are still some spaces left in qualifiers. They're nearly full, but there are one or two spaces at each of the tourneys if you can get a team together. That's Portsmouth or Leeds on the 4/5 February, or Weston on the 18/19 February. Check out http://www.ukultimate.com/Event/BrowseEvents.aspx for details.

What do you get at qualifiers? A MINIMUM of 10 games over the 2 days. And a thoroughly fair schedule that absolutely guarantees the best teams qualify without big discrepancies in pitch-time. Sounds good doesn't it? Get yourself down there.
